The OneEnergy Renewables™ Energy Scholars™ program pairs renewable energy purchases with hands-on learning opportunities for students, offering colleges and universities a unique way to support their sustainability and academic initiatives at the same time.
The Energy Scholars program is available to any college or university that purchases renewable energy from OneEnergy Renewables. The program enables students to apply their formal learning in engineering, business, or environmental management to practical, real-world issues by offering scholarship support for energy-related projects. Energy Scholars will also receive access to OneEnergy Renewables' executives and nearby large-scale solar and wind development projects in the students' home states. Participating schools can not only advance their sustainability goals by purchasing renewable energy, but can also offer students unparalleled educational experiences in the process.
Through the Energy Scholars Program,
students receive:
- A scholarship or grant ranging from $1,000-$5,000
- The opportunity to pursue a personalized energy project of interest
- Access to OneEnergy Renewables' executives, and to their expansive network of industry contacts
- A featured Energy Scholar profile on the OneEnergy Renewables website
