How to Buy RECs or Carbon Offsets from Us

After you email or call us to let us know you are interested, we’ll collect the necessary information and prepare a proposal for you to review. Once you decide on the option that meets your needs, we’ll prepare an agreement and email it to you. After signing and returning the agreement, you will be invoiced. If you are paying for a one-time purchase, you may enclose a check when you return your agreement. Once we have received your signed agreement, we’ll send you a welcome packet. Your REC and Offset certificates will be delivered to you by March of the following year.

Yes, OneEnergy Renewables accepts MasterCard and Visa. Just let us know during the contracting process that this is how you'd like to pay for your RECs and Carbon Offsets.

Yes, we are happy to invoice you annually, quarterly, or monthly, depending on what works best for you. It is important to note that we can only deliver your RECs/Offsets to you if you have paid for them.

After you return your contract to us and we process it, we will send you a welcome packet in the mail, which contains a letter confirming your purchase as well as a window decal (let us know if you need more than one). We also send you one of our OneEnergy Renewables table signs to display at your business. By March of the following year you will get your official certificate for your RECs and/or Carbon Offsets showing that we have delivered them to you.

If paying one-time upfront the customer has three business days to change their mind about the purchase to receive a full refund. Customers on quarterly, monthly, or annual billing can terminate their agreement at any time but the early termination fee will be 25% of the unpaid balance. You must contact us via email or U.S. mail in order to officially terminate your agreement with OneEnergy Renewables.
