Forrest works within OneEnergy’s development team to support a wide range of activities, including environmental review, stakeholder engagement, and navigating projects through the necessary local, state, and federal permitting processes.
Forrest has worked to secure environmental successes for organizations with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, such as the Makah Tribe and Seattle City Light. After applying the skills of policy analysis and strategic planning at the local level, Forrest believes in the value of working closely with local partners to identify win-win solutions and meet tight deadlines.
Forrest holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and a B.S. in Conservation Biology after proudly attended both UW’s – the University of Washington-Seattle and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, respectively. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he loves all varieties of cheese, all varieties of Wisconsin sports, and spends his free time balancing baseball, bird-watching, board games, and backpacking.
