OneEnergy Renewables' development team does something different. We focus our efforts on building new, utility-scale renewable energy projects throughout the US. Our experienced team conducts all pre-construction project development and financing work, including:

  • Siting, leasing and regulatory approval processes
  • Securing interconnection agreements with utilities
  • Negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs) and REC sales
  • Financing the project through tax-equity, equity, and debt investors
  • Partnering with experienced and creditworthy contractors for project design, engineering, procurement, construction, and operation.

In addition, our team possesses deep expertise in carbon markets, regulatory affairs, and power purchase agreements, allowing us to secure the maximum possible project returns for investors, landowners and the community.

Medina County Solar Project, Lodi, OH

19 MW on 100+ acres

In 2008, the state of Ohio enacted legislation requiring utilities to provide 25% of their retail electricity supply from alternative energy sources by 2025. The new standards require that a portion of that energy come from solar projects in Ohio. One way utilities can meet this requirement is to purchase renewable energy certificates from projects like Medina County Solar, which OER is in the process of developing. In cooperation with the landowner, OER plans to convert over 100 acres of land into a 19 MW solar project, generating enough clean energy to power about 2,000 homes.

Hancock County Solar Project, Findlay, OH

1.5 MW on 13 acres

OneEnergy Renewables is developing a 1.5-megawatt solar photovoltaic project on 13 acres in Hancock County. The project will be in a high-visibility location near I-75 and will join several other renewable energy projects in the area.

Darke County Solar Project, Greenville, OH

4 MW on 23 acres

OneEnergy Renewables is working to develop a solar project near Greenville, OH. The 4MW project will reside on 23 acres of land in an industrial district.  Our solar project joins several other alternative energy proposals in the Greenville area.

Casa Grande Solar, Pinal County, AZ

30 MW on 200+ acres

Southern Arizona uses a lot of air conditioning. One of the benefits of solar is that it produces energy in the daytime, when businesses and households need it the most. The Casa Grande Solar Project will utilize over 200 acres of land in Pinal County to generate 30 MW of solar electricity, enough to power over 3,500 homes.

Threemile Dairy Digester, Boardman, OR

OneEnergy Renewables is providing project development services to Threemile Canyon Farms and its partners to develop a 4.8 MW biodigester in Boardman, OR. In addition to managing the permitting and power purchase process, OER secured a $2 million business energy tax credit for Threemile to help fund the project. The project is expected to break ground in late 2011.
