AJ is an integral member of the OneEnergy engineering team and works closely with project managers to develop conceptual designs and advance projects through the interconnection and permitting process. Along with site design, AJ creates energy production models for projects that have matured past the conceptual stage.
Before joining OneEnergy, AJ spent time in the startup sphere developing an energy reduction software (Dropoly) for residential electric customers. He also led a pilot internship program at his alma mater, University of Dayton where he studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Sustainability, Energy and the Environment (SEE). The program worked to improve tech transfer from the Air Force’s private sector to the commercial market, as well as improving the relationship between University and the City of Dayton itself.
Outside of the office it is common to find AJ dwelling in the Cascade mountain range exploring the wealth of granite it offers climbers with his four-legged trail running partner, Onyx.
