Forrest works on OneEnergy’s development team to shepherd solar projects across the Midwest to completion. His work focuses on guiding projects through a wide variety of development tasks – including site selection, stakeholder engagement, and the necessary local, state, and federal permitting processes.
Prior to OneEnergy, Forrest worked to develop climate impact and land management plans for both federally recognized tribes and public electric utilities. His experience in strategic planning and policy analysis prepared him for his current role in terms of working closely with local partners to identify win-win solutions.
Forrest currently holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology after proudly attended both UW’s – the University of Washington-Seattle and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, respectively. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he loves all varieties of cheese, all varieties of Wisconsin sports, and spends his free time balancing baseball, bird-watching, board games, and backpacking.
