Gia’s educational and professional background integrates more than 15 years of experience in sustainable development and land use planning. As OneEnergy Renewables Mid-Atlantic regional lead, Gia’s emphasis is on developing projects through their full life cycle, while keeping an eye trained on the complex commercial signals of a deregulated energy market.
Drawing upon her previous work as a mapping specialist, Gia has developed critical site selection and due diligence practices as well as project management tools. She is committed to matching low-impact development practices with spatial analysis for environmental, ecological and archeological site review.
Since joining OneEnergy in 2012, Gia has honed collaborative relationships with engineering and finance teams throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and strong landowner relationship skills.
Prior to joining OneEnergy, Gia most recently worked in urban planning as a mapping specialist for a non-profit organization supported by a grant from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Gia received her Masters of Landscape Architecture from The University of Washington and her B.S. in Public Health from Miami University.
