Kristin is a strategic CFO and senior operating executive, with over 25 years of experience in new venture creation and financing, strategic planning, corporate finance, and operations. She was an early investor in energy innovation through Angels with Attitude, the Seattle-based angel fund she co-founded in 2000. Fund investments included companies commercializing flywheels, solar cells, and energy efficiency services for commercial real estate.
She has spent the past 20 years working with new ventures as a founder, start-up CFO, investor, director, and advisor primarily in the cleantech and alternative energy industries. She began her energy career in the electric utility industry, providing financial and strategic planning and analysis to Pepco Holdings and helping to start its ESCO subsidiary, Pepco Energy Services. She was the first CFO of Advent Solar, which was sold to Applied Materials in 2009.
Kristin is a director of wave-energy company, Oscilla Power and the Sightline Institute. She received her MBA in Finance and Investments from The George Washington University, and a B.S. from Boston University in Financial Analysis.
