Spooner solar pre-construction vegetation management looked a little different this year, and the goats are to thank for that. The Spooner site, which will be constructed in 2026, had several different types of woody species, including invasive buckthorn, growing on site. Goats were determined to be an effective alternative to herbicide for more thoroughly ridding the site of weeds. The grazing company, aptly named ScapeGoats, had a lot of fun on site and is looking forward to continued collaboration with OneEnergy for future projects!
