Through the Solar Panel Donation Program, OneEnergy offers a donation of solar panels and funding to assist with installation costs to a school located near a solar project that is currently under development or construction.

OneEnergy expands partnership with leading Wisconsin utilities with two new solar projects. 

OneEnergy Renewables (OneEnergy), a Public Benefit Corporation, has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with We Energies, Wisconsin Public Service Corporation (WPS) and Madison Gas and Electric Company (MGE). Through this agreement, OneEnergy will construct two utility-scale solar projects, totaling approximately 165 MWs, both located in Columbia County, Wisconsin, significantly advancing Wisconsin towards its clean energy goals. 

OneEnergy's Solar Panel Donation Program focuses on bringing solar energy to schools in the communities where our projects are located. A recent solar panel donation was installed and commissioned at Mauston High School, in central Wisconsin, where our Lemonweir 3.7MWp solar facility is located. 

Madison Gas & Electric’s latest solar project in Fitchburg is a 6MW project called Tyto which directly serves customers. The municipal electric and gas service company is also seeking approval for more solar to serve all customers.

OneEnergy’s Bluff Prairie solar project makes solar affordable and accessible to Vernon Electric Cooperative members. 

This summer, OneEnergy visited the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Monona, WI to talk to young campers about solar energy.

4‑H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime.

The acquisition comprises the Rocky Ford (2.6 MWdc), Totten (2.8 MWdc), and Montezuma (6.5 MWdc) solar facilities, all slated to enter into commercial operation in mid-2023. Each project has a long-term power purchase agreement in place with high-credit-quality utility co-op offtakers.

WASHINGTON — Days ago, the Environmental Protection Agency announced a groundbreaking program that will accelerate the adoption of solar for low-income and disadvantaged communities. The $7 billion Solar for All program is a first-of-its-kind competition that will provide grants to spur the deployment of solar, enabling millions of households to benefit from lower cost energy. 

OneEnergy’s mission is to fight climate change, but we don’t stop at simply delivering renewable energy. Our team strives to be an active member of the communities that we work and live in through organized volunteerism events. This year, we are celebrating Earth Day by partnering with The Arboretum Foundation, Ocean Blue Project, and RootedWI for a day of volunteering. Our team will spend the day cleaning up parks, removing invasive species, and supporting equitable access to local organic produce.
